All products are printed in full color and most have the option to print the back side in black and white or full color. Many of our products include back side printing free of charge and full bleed is available standard on all products.
Paper Stocks: (return to top of page)
One of the features that sets Reminiscence Publishing apart from the competition is our premium quality paper offerings. The following papers are available, depending on the product:
16 point gloss cover: A point is equivalent to 1/1000 of an inch, making our 16 point stock .016” thick. By comparison, a typical index card is .007” thick – less than half the thickness of our 16 point stock. This stock is gloss coated on both sides, ensuring sharp image detail and a shiny finish.
16 point matte cover: The same thickness of our gloss but with a matte coated finish. The coating still provides for sharp detail and vivid color, however without the shiny surface.
14 point gloss cover: Same as above except .014” thickness
14 point matte cover: Same as above except .014” thickness
100# gloss cover: Roughly .01” thick and gloss coated on both sides
100# gloss book (or text): A substantial .005” thickness, this stock is gloss coated on both sides for exceptional color and detail. By comparison, a typical sheet of 20# bond (copy paper) measures .004” thick, 25% thinner than our gloss book.
Crack’n Peel: These labels are cut to size (not on a roll) and include a scored peel away backing and removable adhesive. The glossy finish promotes excellent detail to complement our high quality printing.
Magnets: With an approximate thickness of 12 points, this magnet stock is flexible and highly adaptable. With a large magnetic surface area, they will stay where you put them.
Coating options: (return to top of page)
UV Coating: This coating is applied to the printed sheet and dried instantly by exposure to Ultraviolet light. The interaction between the coating and light creates a high gloss, hard protective finish. Benefits include: Increased opacity, deeper and more vibrant color tones, sharper graphics, scuff and dirt resistance, and an all around sturdier product. Be advised, however, that a UV coated surface is un-writable. If you intend to write or print on the final piece it is highly recommended that you do not choose the UV coating option.
Aqueous coating: This functions essentially as a varnish added to the printed piece, offering added protection and resistance to scuffing. This coating is standard on all full color printing on matte coated stocks as well as 100# gloss and text stocks. The goal is to ensure your great looking printed piece stays that way.

Another way to stand out from the pack, this option is available on all standard 2” x 3.5” business cards for an additional fee. Please view the template to determine dimensions after corner rounding. ROUND CORNER TEMPLATE

Choose from four folding options on our text weight flyers size 8.5” x 11” and larger, and two options on 100# cover brochures. Options include half, letter, z, and accordion fold. (click image for larger view)

Available as an option on our door hangers – a small dashed line cut into the paper allowing for easy tear off.
Die cut slits: (return to top of page)
A feature included in our 9” x 14” and larger presentation folders. These are small cuts placed on the inside pockets of the folder, allowing for easy insertion of a standard size business card and/or compact disk.
